Somedays I feel like I am a jack of all trades and master of none but overall I choose to refute that. I have a lifelong love for art and photography and a near decade long commitment to my health and fitness. I have always known that my life purpose was to help people but it wasn’t until recently when I figured out more specifically how. My life purpose is to inspire people to take action on their dreams.
If you’ve known me for years or a day, you’ll know that I have a relentless pursuit of those things that make me happy. If I have an idea, I act on it – no matter how scary, big or bold. I refuse to settle for a life that makes me feel less than fulfilled and on many occasions, that has led me to explore many interesting paths. What I have learned is one great truth about myself, that I have more than one passion and I ardently want to pursue both.
Through my passion for art and fitness, I want to connect people and show them that they are not alone in how they feel emotionally or physically.
As an artist, I heal emotionally through my work. I have the ability to explore my own personal journeys through visual story telling. All of my imagery will embody something personal and meaningful to me and this is what I have to offer – to connect people and stories to my work.
As a fitness enthusiast, I heal my body through my lifestyle. Honestly, if you would have asked me at 18 if I would ever teach in a gym or much less go to one, I would have laughed at you and said, “whatever.” I stumbled into fitness almost by accident and have found that through an arduous almost decade long relationship with it, if I can maintain a consistent healthy relationship with it so can you.
So what is it that I do exactly?
I spend my days balancing between creating limited works of art to sell in galleries, online and to license, and teaching Les Mills cycle classes in the Denver area. Some weeks I focus more on fitness and some weeks I focus more on art. No matter which passion I am pursuing I am doing so boldly, fiercely, and powerfully.
When not doing either of these things you can find me spending time with my husband, two kitties, chihuahua, obsessing about Tiësto, hiking, snowboarding and plotting on how to take over the world.
